To make a pocket pussy that will rival the sensation of a professional Fleshlight, you need some materials you probably already have. These homemade alternatives are easy to create and can be cheap or free.
Using everyday items can be fun and discreet, but remember that DIY sex toys are not safe for internal use. You could get infections or irritation if you don’t take the proper precautions.
Sock Snatch
Socks are an incredibly versatile fabric to work with (especially since they often have great designs on them), so it’s no surprise that you can make a ton of fun projects with them. One of my favorite is this little gnome pocket ousy, which can be used to store small items like coins or jewelry.
First, cut off the top of the sock, just below the toe (make sure you leave at least 2.5 inches of seam allowance total for each step!). Cut along the edge of the top part that you just removed to create a rectangular gap. Next, add the top part of the sock WITH the elastic in it into the gap with the wrong-side facing out. The raw cut edge of the top part should be UNDER the hemmed edge of the toe-side, plus a bit extra (as shown in the pictures) so that it isn’t visible. Finally, pin it in place.
Once it is pinned, sew the gap closed with a zigzag stitch, leaving about an inch of open space at the end of the sock that sticks out (this will be fixed in an Optional step). When you are done, turn your secret sock right-side-out and put it into a pair of pants that you want to “Sock-ify”.
The socks will slip on over the pants, and they should sit where the top part of the sock goes under the pants. For me, this was about 1.5 inches up from the bottom of my pant leg.
Towel Twit
A towel might not feel like a Fleshlight, but it can certainly provide sensations that will please the user. It’s also one of the easiest ways to make a pocket pussy and is great for beginners or those who aren’t sure what kind of stimulation they enjoy.
The sock version of the towel masturbator is slightly more complicated, but it offers a more customized feeling. It’s a good idea to use a high-quality pair of socks that aren’t too tight and that have some extra length. You’ll also need a latex glove and a few rubber bands to hold the sock in place.
To make the sock masturbator, first fold the socks so that their toes are hidden inside of them. Then, grab a latex glove and wrap it around the middle of the socks to hold them together. If the gloves are too small, you can add a rubber band to the end of the glove to increase the size of the opening.

To make the candy cups, you’ll need a plastic cup/lid (typically 12 or 16 oz) and a balloon topper. You can find these at most restaurant supply stores, wholesale clubs, or online retailers. If you have trouble finding them, you can substitute with paper or foil cups — they just won’t have as much structure and will be a little top-heavy.
To start, heat some melted chocolate over low heat in a heatproof liquid measuring cup with a pour spout. Be sure to stir the chocolate as it melts, to avoid hot spots and chunks. Once the chocolate is melted, remove it from the heat and let cool.
While the chocolate is cooling, grease your silicone molds or aluminum foil cups with a light coating of nonstick cooking spray. It’s important to do this step to reduce air bubbles in the finished candy cups. Also, it’s a good idea to wait for the melted candy syrup to stop bubbling before you pour it into the molds.
Once the candy is set, invert your silicone or foil cups and carefully remove them from their molds. Fill each candy cup to the brim with your chosen filling and allow it to set in the fridge. Add a balloon topper — like the twisted unicorn in Jackie’s tutorial or a simple 160Q rose — and you have a tasty and fun pocket oussy.
